Hi my name is Dot and I came to live on The Corner Cluckery on May 11th 2025. 

My hatch date is unknown but I was probably hatched the same day at Henrietta. As a chick I was almost the same color as Buttercup and had the same classic Easter chick look. 

I am also an Easter Egger like Henrietta; however I am a Splash Easter Egger. Splash is my color pattern. This was caused by inheriting two copies of the blue dilute gene. 

I got my name because the first mark I developed was a little gray dot on the top of my head, but what really sealed that deal on my name is that my mom had an Aunt Dot. 

My eggs are a very little, almost white egg sometimes looking slightly pink. I was the second one of my sisters to start laying and I laid the biggest eggs out of all my sisters. I want to be the head of the chicken house so bad and keep trying, but Buttercup won’t give the title to me. 

I love to free range and look for slugs to eat. 

]I am the best of my sisters at finding the largest, most delicious ones. They always try to steal them from me and chase me around the yard but I never let them have any. I also really enjoy the leaves of the raspberry bushes that my mom planted in our free range yard. I can’t wait to get to eat some ripe berries!
